Robotics Demonstration Cell for Career Day - Keller Technology

Keller Technology Corporation (KTC) recently partnered with Fanuc America to offer Buffalo Prep students an up-close look at an industrial robot for their Career Day event. Fanuc America provided the robotics demonstration cell to showcase its smooth, precision operation for middle and high school attendees. At the same time, the industrial robot introduced them to the many career paths available in the fields of manufacturing, technology and engineering. KTC employees answered students’ questions about robotic systems and what they liked best about their jobs designing and building factory automation systems.

More than just a school, Buffalo Prep is a dedicated organization that works with private, public, and charter high schools to help disadvantaged youth obtain a first-rate college preparatory education. Since its founding in 1989, Buffalo Prep has been helping to close the achievement gap for bright and talented kids from the Greater Buffalo region who lack the financial means to achieve their goals.

KTC, recently certified as an Authorized System Integrator (ASI) by Fanuc America Corporation, has been a Buffalo, NY, area business for almost 100 years and has provided customized robotic solutions to many global companies since the early 1980s. Contact us today for more information.
