Sport fishing on the Great Lakes is a challenging, fun and tasty activity that also makes for an enjoyable team building exercise. So after a daylong sales strategy session at the Keller Technology (KTC) headquarters in Buffalo, NY, attendees of the meeting met early the following morning at Wilson Boatyard Marina to participate in a day on the waters of Lake Ontario.
With the help of two fishing charter companies, Afishionado Sportfishing and West End Sport Fishing, employees from both the Charlotte and Buffalo KTC facilities boarded the two vessels and headed north to the U.S.-Canadian border. The weather was perfect, and each KTC team worked together to catch their limit of Coho Salmon, King Salmon and Steelhead Trout.
The team building exercise helped the KTC employees break down the barriers of distance, create a more productive team environment and communicate better with one another on a daily basis.
