
Keller Technology is proud to contribute to a critical national initiative through our involvement in the Isotope Enrichment project at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), located in Oak Ridge, TN. Keller Technology is supporting this effort through the fabrication of custom process equipment for isotope enrichment. These precision-engineered systems are critical to ORNL’s advanced isotope separation and production programs.
Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) plays a leading role in isotope science, development, and production for the United States, serving national needs for stable and radioactive isotopes used in medicine, industry, security, and scientific research. ORNL’s Isotope Science and Enrichment Directorate advances enrichment technology and isotope applications to strengthen domestic supply chains and reduce dependence on foreign sources.
A cornerstone of ORNL’s mission is the construction of advanced facilities such as the Stable Isotope Production and Research Center (SIPRC), a state-of-the-art facility funded by the U.S. Department of Energy to establish comprehensive domestic isotope enrichment capabilities. This center will house multiple isotope enrichment systems, representing more than a decade of research and prototyping – the first broad-scope stable isotope enrichment facility in the nation in decades.

Keller Technology has been contracted to fabricate precision-engineered isotope enrichment equipment, including:

- Precision fixtures and frames that meet strict alignment and stability requirements
