We are excited to announce the addition of our new WeldBot Dual Skyhook robotic welding system, a powerful upgrade that enhances our precision, capacity, and production efficiency.
This new weld cell combines advanced robotics with a custom-engineered positioning system, enabling us to deliver higher-quality weldments with faster turnaround times.
Advanced Robotic Welding Technology
At the heart of this new system is a FANUC 12iD/12L 6-axis robot, designed for high-precision, repeatable welding operations. Robotic welding allows us to maintain consistent weld quality across production runs, reducing variability and ensuring that every component meets strict specifications.
Custom Dual Skyhook Positioning System
The WeldBot system is equipped with a custom servo-driven dual skyhook positioner, which in conjunction with the flexibility of the 6-axis robot, allows for the handling of complex geometries and multi-angle welds that would be difficult to achieve manually. This combination allows for optimal part manipulation during the welding process. This capability ensures that each weld can be performed in the ideal orientation, providing an aesthetically pleasing result, higher quality, and consistent repeatability which in turn mitigates risk of potential rework.
The dual skyhook design also enables increased productivity by allowing efficient loading and unloading while the system is in operation, minimizing downtime between cycles.
Large Part Capacity
This new weld cell significantly expands the size and weight of parts we can process. The system accommodates components up to:

· Up to 2,500 lbs
